"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but I can't accept not trying." - M. Jordan

The lights on the walls and some shadows look kinda -blam!-tEE....and I wanted to know if Bungie is saying that they are without all graphical features. They look griddy, and you can see each pixle around the edges of some shadows.

No, they are usually in-game screens. Besides, Bungie can't perfect shadows(with anti-ailiasing) with the limited power of the Xbox..

Well, think about it, Bungie is STILL working on Halo 2 and will be for the next couple months probably until like 2 weeks before the release, We will never see a fully finished graphical screenshot until a couple days before the release date, dont worry bout it bro, it will be fixed. TRUST BUNGIE, they wouldnt do a half ass job on anything.

YEah....I was also thinking about how perfect the glare is on the very first Halo 2 video. Man all cimatics better be like that. I do understand how it wouldn't be in game though.

There is no way in hell that they could get the code to a company for replication, packaging and distribution within two weeks.

I think Bungie did say that they would probably be finished with the final version a couple months before the release so that they could begin producing it.

Also, the reason why the shadows and everything was so crappy, is because it was teken out of its standard resolution to fit the page, otherwise you'd have like a picture that was 8 times larger than your computer screen, And if you saw it inj a magazine or something (That'd also be the same reason.)

for the average game it takes around 2 and a half weeks for replication and packaging ship, etc., for halo 2 and its release volume i would think they would need around 3 and a half weeks or maybe a month. Game discs like music cds and movies are not burned they are pressed and there for thousands upon thousands can be done in a day
