"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but I can't accept not trying." - M. Jordan

ok I read in a article that prgramers are making the xbox's hard drive work with the 64mb of ram that this machine has. I do not in anyway understand how this is possible, but an on average xbox of a 5 gig hard drive. That is a lot of space. I was wondering if anyone else had read this??, because if I hadn't of I would have no faith in that there wouldn't be mass amounts of lagg in co-op.

The 64 MB of RAM is totally different from the 8GB Xbox HDD. I'm not totally into computers, so I can't go into detail, sorry.

the xbox doesnt have to run a big ram sucking OS (operating system) like win XP so that helps it and also its easier to program complicated algarithms because everyone has the same system. and probobly the most important feature is the hard drive. the xbox uses virtual memory wich is when you use a peice of the hard drive as memory.

Play as a team win as a team or die as a team!

So will Halo 2 lagg at all or be like Halo 1? Because I just hate playing laggy games as everyone else. But Online is a different story but on single player.

halo 2 is actualy going to run a bit faster than halo because of bump-mapping and other tech improvements. it crazy that it could run even smoother than halo... man they're good.

if u play the last level on Halo, you see that in that last tunnel you go through. It almost alwaysa laggs because of all the action. But thats what is so great about Halo 2, they use "every drop of xbox code". which since I think this sounds like it is maximizing all effects in Halo 2. There should be very little lagg, and when it freezes up, the game will fix its self up. Halo has never frozen my xbox, but it has taken long pauses.

This is what is called framerate, from all of the enemies being drawn on screen at the same time.

MC is also made of fewer ploygons, which will help memory conservation a lot.
