Ok, I know this is most likely the wrong place to post this. And please forgive me. I just feel that I will get much further here than going into The Flood and getting flamed all over.
I am in a situation where and individual has been stealing images from a Freewebs site that my dad and I created and maintain for a car club here in Florida. Recently, my dad asked him about stealing the images from our page and using them on his own. We saw this happening quite a long time ago so we added little watermarks as not to take away from the image itself. Well, he quickly and easily could photoshop it out. I have wanted to avoid using watermarks that cover the entire image. ANyways, he recently sent myself and my father a threatening e-mail and actually called ME out on his website, when I have never even met the guy. My dad called him out, not me. Yet I am getting called names and such all while he even spells my name wrong. So, what this all boils down to is I need any help I can get. With you all being Halo PC players and having dedicated servers and such, I figure you could help the most. Anyone with HTML experience that is willing to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. And if anyone knows of a way to get a fairly cheap .com to please let me know. If you can/would like to help, please PM or e-mail me at trunk_munkey@hotmail.com
And if you cant/dont want to help, what do you think of servers that play only rockets or only snipers w/o sheilds.. I dont like either!

Sorry..cant help. But ive heard that geocities is good, partially because Yahoo runs it.

But the internet is a big place, and there is virtually no way you can hunt him down for virtual justice...not without a long legal battle. Keep in mind that for every 7 cool people you meet online, there is the one idiot. And dont give out personal info over the net. Its just not safe enough...yet.

Wish you luck.

I know of a there's a piece of HTMl that stops right-clicking on your pages when used in your source code, however he can still find the Url of the image via the View>Source option.
Unless theres a way to mask the source code as well. I'll see if i can find anything else and i'll post if i get anywhere.

Finding him isnt the problem. He lives here and was a former member of the car club that my dad and I ran the site for. We have an e-mail that he sent us threatening my dad. He stated that because the new law here in FL, he can and will use any force deemed necessary if he feels threatened. My dad has done nothing to make him feel threatened in any way! I would rather this not get into a legal battle because I nor my dad have the time for it. I found a cheap place that will register and host a domain for me. They allow for HTML editing and all the goodies. I have also found a piece of software that allows you to block the IP address so I think we are going to pay the $10 for it. I am quite thankful for all the help I have received. You people are awesome!

hmmmm, use that device. However, try emailing him a link in my sig. The link in my sig"Funny! CHeck it Out" can pay him back.

Okay, just kidding, try using another site like geocities or something.
