It pretty good, I would point out a few things. The MAC platform seems out of place because the dark side of the spaceships can be seen with detail and the platform seems very dark, so I would desaturate, contrast and brighten that layer to give it a better effect. I would use the burn tool on the spaceships in certain areas to give more realism as to us being on the shadowy side of the ships. The ODST seems a little random, but it's fine.

No. Just rotate the MAC platform and darken the covie ships.

Just no...

Why? Darkening the ships would take away from the detail and enhancing the MAC platform would do the trick.

Just no...If your going to criticize, do it with a little more emphasis before you try do downplay my critique.

Sweet!
I think you're on the right track, but I'm gonna point out one thing that is bothering me.

I think that the ships and the MAC platform need to be blurred some, to give the feeling of depth.
Right now I just don't get the feeling that they are large objects in the distance, they seem too crisp to be distant objects.

Just my opinion.

Great job though.

>.> contradicting much

Darkening the ships like so would give the proper shadow effect based on where the light is coming from, even just the subtle lighting change can make those little details that our eyes catch less noticeable.

Agreed, change the lighting on ths ships, and even possibly at the VERY bottom right of the picture on the ODST's helmet. Unless theres a light source that we cannot see. But most people will assume theres not.

You did what I suggested initially, my assumption of your post was to darken the ships to match the platform, hence my question. You are misunderstanding my posts which I can see seem contradictory from a certain point of view, but it wasn't my intention.
