Imagine working for a year or so on a game that finally put you on the map. Now imagine someone using your forums to promote using a keygen to play an illegal version of the game.....
The point has been argued that Halo should be free to Xbox Live members (which is a bad idea IMO), but this goes way beyond that.
Seriously, Ioniz, quit pissing around and just say what you mean - Stosh and whoever else is listening:
We're frankly a little pissed that you blacklisted Chewy. I realize he crossed a gargantuan red line, but he was a cool guy, and I'm still ticked - you can't expect any of us to happy with the situation.
It might calm tempers if you were to announce that his blacklisting was temporary, but I honestly don't think you will. Ioniz has a point - what will probably happen is that you will see if you can ignore it long enough for it to go away. Just like a corporation - a cold, emotionless corporation. You'll have better things to do than listen to your faithful fans and hear their petitions. And you'll simply prove the point that Ioniz has made with this thread - that Bungie has sold us out - the most faithful and active fans of the smash hit Halo for PC - still no. 8 on the charts after what - 80 weeks.
And, in my opinion, that sucks. Ioniz has shown you with this thread, that we will not forget no matter how long you ignore it. Am I going to request that you reconsider? No. I personally don't think it would make a difference. It seems you guys have crossed a red line too.
oh no? Then Prove Me Wrong.
