have you ever wondered that halo ce was meant to be like this? i remember when halo came out it was not mainly for multiplayer. the main feature was campaign. did they even try to make multiplayer as awsome as it is? or did it jsut turn out like that? was it supposed to be like... say half life 2 is? focused on single but not multiplayer? i was jsut wondering. what are your guy's thoughts on this?

thanks

Ever since the release of Marathon (with it's unparalleled single player story) was delayed because Alex Seropian, Jason Jones and the original Marathon crew were playing multiplayer all the time, Bungie has focused on giving their games unique, enjoyable single player and multiplayer experiences at the same time. Marathon, Marathon 2, Marathon Infinity, Myth: TFL, Myth 2, and Halo all have immersive single player campaigns and highly addicting multiplayer modes. So, from what I have seen, Bungie designs a game with both single player and multiplayer modes in mind, rather than focusing more on either one then tacking the other on at the end.
