One of the latest releases on Halo2 facts says "Driving skill is now as much a part of the game as the shooting". Since this is a fps, I don't see driving taking up 50% of the game. That just does not seem right.

I like driving a lot. Even if this is an FPS, one of the things that made the original Halo fun was the vehicles, so I don't think players will have a problem with it, I know I won't.

^ Pfft its not just a "fps" it's HALO!

Halo has vehicles, vehicles are fun, if you're going to have vehicles why not make them the best that they can be?

I always hated how simplistic all the vehicles are...if you're all pretty good players the vehicles don't even get used (Blood Gulch...)

I don't think that estimate is very accurate at all actually, in MP you will always have a choice of using vehicles, so it depends more on the player.

Yeah, I myself like flag running in the warthog, and vehicles in general make flag running and transportation easier.

Driving was always important, it was amazing where you could make a warthog go with enough persuasion :P

Yea - I do love driving warthogs, ghosts, banshees, tanks, whatever.... And with the new boarding capability, things will get interesting. Like rather than a vehicle just sitting at the next level for you, you will need to comandeer the vehicle and use it in the level without it getting destructed too much. It is going to be great.
