Yeah, seriously, I've posted 3 times about it and no one answers even closely related to it.

AuSam: 'lol, who the hell would even have sex with dogs?'

Yeah, but I think its too late now, Shishka and the other Bungie guys do watch this, so you can probably expect them to do something for the next one, if they don't its for a reason and we'll have to live with it.

Every1 in the party needs to have the mythic map pack for it to come up. if it doesnt come up there is a chance some1 hasnt got it.

When are we getting to see pics of the 3 other maps?????

Question what about grifball is it going to be all mythic cuz that would be sweet.

Nice update. I like reading it before posting.

It will still be on foundry until roosterteeth put up a mythic version of grifball. roosterteeth own the rights to grifball (i think) so bungie cant change it.

Anything made in Halo 3 is owned by Microsoft(with possibly some controling intrest by Bungie as well:) ). I'm pretty sure they can do whatever they want as far as Grifball maps go.

ALL VEHICLE GRIFBALL!!! Sunday! Sunday! SUNDAY!!!!!! Okay, that won't happen.

no, roosterteeth doesn't "own" the rights to Grifball, but as we are the largest community of diehard grifball players, we would know what best to do with it
we have tried vehicle grifball (called GrifPolo), and it wasn't really good enough to be used very much
Nokyard(mapmaker extraordinaire) has some tricks up his sleeve, though, so be prepared

Will Grifball still be on Foundry?

But, The Crypt is so much, better.

bla bla bla

i heard soon they are going to make almost all the other games on matchmaking, such as team doubles, big teams, and other games require the mythic maps. is that true?

  • 04.26.2009 10:32 AM PDT

Please consider enlisting in the UNSC's Black Water Ops Program. Led by Recon and featured multiple time in Bungie's Community Spotlight. We have over 4000 members in just over 9 months and we are growing everyday. I hope to see at BWO!

So I'm going to assume that since it just says grifball with no mythic required or optional that means that it will still be strictly foundry. It would make more sense to do it in the crypt. There's no ways to escape, and it will be easier to get achievements =)

There is no possible way to escape Grifball Foundry either. Both maps are exactly the same in length and width and there is no possible way to escape either of them.

bla bla bla

well some one tell me if they are going to require mythic maps for team doubles and all the other games that require legendary maps...

Bombproof your horse wins title fight!

As I read these comments im shocked that not a single person is as floored as I am about the fact were being Roshamboed. The legendary maps were given there own playlist so buying was an option and didn't effect the majority of halo play. Why now is Mythic being integrated into the vast majority of what I feel are some of the most popular playlists so soon in its infancy and in a sense forcing you to buy them so your not so limited in live play. Furthermore, when ODST is released with the same maps how are you going to justify a fifty dollar or more price point for the game when many people will have already purchased three of the new maps so they can enjoy their playlists that bungie has made Mythic mandatory? Saying things like "awesome update and sweet man" only fuel the greed.

Seriously? Making people pay for the maps and then making the good playlists MYTHIC REQUIRED is not fair.

  • 04.26.2009 7:57 PM PDT

.

Wait, what was that about Seattle at the end there? I live in Seattle!

Ha ha ha! 800 MP isn't even a lot. Anyone can simply get 1600 MP and get the Mythic Map Pack.

I support this post completely.

How many playlists will require the mythic maps before before ODST is released?
Why should I be forced to purchase the maps twice?

  • 04.27.2009 6:29 AM PDT

The reason people don't mind it is because most of us have the maps. Theyre not even expensive and they're the best maps yet.

And I'm SO glad u guys are reducing the respawn times on power weapons on heavy variants. I wish you'd just remove heavy variants completely, but this is a step in the right direction. I love big team, but cant stand heavy. Im just so sick of getting lasered, sniped, missile podded (is that a word?), and rocketed all the time.

Good update Bungie.

  • 04.27.2009 11:22 AM PDT
