Yes its true halo can be played over xbox live!I seen it with my own eyes,so i can tell you how to do it.All i know is that you hook up something from your computer to the xbox and donwload some stuff and BLAM u can play halo online.I dont know the website at this moment.Bungie is it true?

Basically what xbconnects's stuff does is "trick" the xbox into thinking your playing over LAN.

nope it can be done.I was playing halo over xbox live and it worked at my friends house.So what?Im telling you it works.Its probaly an illegal site microsoft and bungie dont know about!All u do is download some stuff in your xbox.

It can be done. You need to buy a network cable hook one side in ur xbox the other inside your router..........turn on ur comp.....go to xbconnect.com.....do what they tell you to get it installed......turn on halo........turn on xbconnect......start playing

Ok you might think it was xbox live, but it wasnt, its a program called XBconnect or Gamespy, and i bet you werent using your mic too talk, and if you were then you were dreaming or just lyiing to the hole community.

And XBconnect is not illegal

So just stop thinking it was Xbox Live

Yes, you were online but not on Live. Xbconnect and Gamespy are what are called "tunnel" software, in which they make a "tunnel" between computers, making the Xbox think there is multiple Xboxs on the network/LAN. Anyways like someone pointed out you can't use the mic because it wasn't integrated into the game for anything.
