I speak English, some French and a few words in a Italian since I had to take it for a few years in school.

  • 07.14.2004 2:27 PM PDT

Two - English and French. Or should that be: Deux - Anglais et Français. And a very little bit of Old English, but only because I had to know about it for English.
As you can see, I'm a bit of a cunning linguist.

I speak Swedish fluent, and I speak English quite good (or, I write english quite good. My pronunciation sucks) and I speak spanish partially.

I can understand Icelandic and Norweigian, a little bit danish and a little bit german, and I understand portuguese a bit less than I understand spanish (in other words: very little)

The average age in this community is 15-17, and judging by the replies, most people speak at least 2 languages
I am 15 too

Spartan Jack: You're probably the first Dutch person to ever master the french language :) I've got a dutch buddy and he's friggin hilarious when he tries to speak french... oh and btw France doesn't suck in general it just depends on the places you've visited (if you've only visited Paris I can understand your opinion though)

Dutch got to be one of the ugliest languages in the world. No wait, I'm confusing it with german. Anyway, german sound like someone is talking with a crow in the troath and the mouth full of porridge. And danish sounds the same way

I have to disagree with you there dude, I think German is one of the most beautiful languages out there and I'm not talking about the sound of the language alone, but also about German literature.

You attend an international school?

And yeah, it's true they do speak irritatingly fast, but it's not nearly as horrible as the Italians or the spanish... just listening to an Italian gets me dizzy...
