Why is there math on the pie?

I've been working on this for a while, and when I saw the Hornet that was on the Blog a few days ago, I was inspired to show off my work

All of the pics

Overview

It opens!

Front view

Bendy wings

Top view

Right now, the front and back wings can rotate, the back hatch can open, and it has landing gear. The landing gear are, I admit, somewhat inaccurate, but I was more going for a silhouette that matched the actual design than getting the little bits like that.

The folder is now "Public", I guess, so it can be accessed now.
Take note, however, that it is a constant work in progress, so I might be posting updates/ more pics soon.

Wow, that is .. AMAZING!

However, your first link doesn't work, "it's not a public folder yet".

Now build a life-sized one :P

Yea, It's anything but to scale with the minifigs, but if one guy fits, I'm cool. If I squeeze them, I can even fit a few in the back.

Pelican dimensions:
100.29 feet long
76.84 feet wide
35.85 feet high.
If pelicans were cube shaped, that would mean a total of approximately 277,200 cubic feet. But because they are (If you squint and tilt your head right) triangular shaped, I'm going to say closer to 138,600 cu. feet. The average LEGO brick is around one inch by one half an inch by one third an inch. This means I'd need a good 3,825,360 bricks, minus 91,080 for the troop bay, giving us a grand total of 3,734,280 bricks.

I'll get right on that, man. Got any pieces I can borrow?

Fine... Also, I discovered why It takes a while for the folder to become public; someone needs to check the file out to make sure that I'm only posting pictures of LEGOs. Expect the file to become open about a day after I post this.

Very detailed, very nice. But it looks a bit small? (I build with legos, and use them in a strategy game, I know the approx scale.)
