I was wondering if you could make Halo PC not cover the whole screen while playing? I tried looking for a way and couldn't find it. Any help would be apprieciated...
Try right-clicking your Halo PC shortcut on your desktop, and appending "-window" to the end.eg, the "target:" field in mine would look exactly like this, quotation marks included:"C:\Program Files\Bungie\Halo PC" -windowJah.
That don't work.
I think the command line arguement is -windowed instead of -window. Happy Fragging!
Something smells fishy...
actually -window does work. you need to put a "space" then -windowIt works for me. I don't know about windowed.
Suck it Red!
This only works for the desktop icon correct?
Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.
It also works if you add it to the Start Menu shortcut.[Edited on 05.04.2009 12:20 PM PDT]
All I ask is that you don't try to capture me.
If you're playing windowed, don't forget to lower the resolution settings of the game. Otherwise, the window will be too large to move around on your screen.
I dont know about that...........
How do I add -window to the end? I rename the file?
You put it at the end of the "Target" line."C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -window
Where can i do that? sorry I am such a noob with computers.
Right-click the Halo icon.Go to "Properties"Look at the "Target" box.Add -window to the end of that line."C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -window[Edited on 05.29.2009 9:12 AM PDT]

Or you could just hit WindowsKey+R, type:"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -windowand hit Ok.
