Ok... first of all, not a bad effort for your first montage. You have potential...
But why in the world would you say "beautiful editing make it one of the best on the net!" about your own video?! No offense, but the editing was generic at best. The synching was way off in a number of places and many of the effects had no purpose. Also your camera work was shaky.
I don't say that stuff to be a jerk, but seriously... one of the best on the net? c'mon dude show some humility. Spend more time on your synching. Don't add an effect unless it's for a reason. Crossfades go a long ways. You'll get a lot more interest and respect as an editor if stay away from claiming your stuff is the best around... especially when you're just starting. In fact, I almost didn't watch your video because of what you wrote about your own work.
And please please please fix your aspect ratio! If you want widescreen footage and your card doesn't have that capability then set your xbox (in the console settings) to widescreen before you capture. Your clips will looked squished, but when you import them into your editing software change the clip properties to NTSC Widescreen... that will resolve your aspect ratio.
Couple of other things... if you're going to continue with the dynamic camera work, flying around for transitions and such, try slowing the cam speed down. It's in the controller settings and it will make things look steadier. Also, try to be original. I know it's your first video, but still, it's like all the other montages out there. BE DIFFERENT!
Now, keep editing. Watch some other montages, and work on a unique style. I'd suggest in your next project, tone down the effects and focus almost solely on the synching. If you nail the synching you'll be amazed at how well the montage flows! And don't forget about the audio.
Sorry if that came off as mean... just trying to give you some constructive criticism.
Peace,
Murph
And just so you don't think I'm making stuff up... here's the most recent montage I've edited!
