Lets say that I buy Halo 2 right now. Would I be able to get the maps for it on xbox live?

No you have to buy them at Wal-Mart.
Is that a joke?

To the OP, you can get the maps online and they are free.

Since this thread is here already, and I'm not allowed to post new threads for 24 hours, and Im trying to find a solution today, here's my issue:

I bought Halo 2 yesterday to play on my Xbox 360, since I want to complete the campaign of this game before I play Halo 3. I live in mexico, so my copy apparently comes with spanish audio.... and this is a huge issue for me because I would like to play it in it's original language, and also because the spanish dubbing sucks big time. I looked around in the game menu but there was no option to change the in-game audio language... is there any way I can do this?

Yeah, it's there. Go to Sysyem Settings/Console/Language and change it there.

I already have my console language as English. The text in the game does appear in English, even the subtitles, but the Audio is all in Spanish. I did also just now went to Settings/Console/Language and confirmed that it is set as english.

It all depends on your internet speed and how you connect.

I've been thinking of doing that but then where's the guarantee? There is still the possibility that my copy of the game does have english audio but the game chooses the audio based on something off of my console that marks it as latin american, so purchasing the american version of the game would probably give the same result if the american version also has spanish audio available, which is still very likely.

Take the disk into a local game store. They probably have a console in there (for testing when people come in and complain about a disk) and you can ask them to pop it in and see if it works. Some of the big stores in the US have consoles out on the sales floor but I don't know if where you live is the same.
