Im so confused on how to get started to play halo on pc, i need serious help how to get it goin with aol dialup, anyone who has had the same problem and has some tips besides getting a better internet connection help me por favor. it tells me the master server of gamespy isnt responding or sumtin like that. is there another way to play the game?

Make sure your connected before you play halo and make sure your firewall has ports 2300-2305 open.

how exactly would i do that, go thru the control panel and then what?

1. Make sure you are connected to the dialup service. The connection must be active.

I don't think routers works with dialup anymore. Unless you've got the router setup after the modems, then maybe, but I've never done that before.

So you are telling me you don't know how to connect so you can surf the internet? Because that's all you need to do - we're asking if you are connected to your dialup service when you try to play multiplayer. And don't spam the forum by creating seperate threads on the exact same subject.
