1. open microsoft word
2. Type in the following (without the quatation marks) "=rand (200,099)"
3. Hit enter

Now the phrase "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" should appear many times in a row. It is very strange. I actually found out about this on Pranks.org, as a way to crash someones computer (it will only crash if you copy the whole message many times. It will not crash when you type this in.) Does anyone know of other commands like this?

That sentence has every letter of the alphabet in it. That's why it's important. I don't know why it comes up when that code's typed, though. Just offering my help. ;]

Wow I've never noticed that before. Maybe its some kind of quirky developer's code to test all of the letters. Or maybe I'm way off.

I thought most people were familiar with that sentence. I guess not. If you open a font file it will display that sentence and 0-9 so you can see what all the characters look like. Or at least that used to be how it was.

The only reason it crashes is it begins to take up all your memory (RAM).
