The first thing you have to do is enable the console...
It's an easy thing to do. First things first, right click the Halo icon and select properties. You should see something like "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe". Now, all you have to do is, at the end of the target line, place "(space)-console".
Now it should look like "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe -console".
That's the first stage over. Now, whenever you are in a game and someone starts being an arse, press that weird button next to the '1' on your keyboard and you should see some text (pinkish) at the bottom of your screen. All you have to type in is "sv_ban (players name here)", minus the quote marks.
It's a lot easier to ban someone by thier player number though, because you don't have to worry about spelling etc... To find out what number they are, just type in "sv_players" and look down the list.
Might I suggest that you just warn people first though. There isn't much point in just banning everyone who gets on your nerves and having a power trip yourself. Only ban for good reason and you won't get a reputation as an arse yourself. If whatever problem is being caused by any player isn't MAJOR, just use the "sv_kick (player)" option instead.
Hope this helps.
