"The way of the warrior is the path of shadow. The gift of the warrior is to percieve that which cannot be seen. The spirit of the warrior is to strike in a single moment. The destiny of the warrior is balance in all things. And when balance is lost... all that is left is the reckoning."

Would we get some MJOLNIR too?

I would prefer gaining skills and abilities naturally and solely through training, not some augmentation that makes you a cybernetic organism. Would you take anabolic steroids to build serious muscle and hormones, or would you rather become an athlete through training and mental stability? The two questions are nearly the same, risky, stupid, fake.

But think about how much training it would take to even get as far as the MC he can flip 66 ton tanks with the greaest of ease can any athlete today do that no any person have a quick reaction time like that no so if this is the only way to do it then im taking it

This is true, and I understand this. But first of all, you would already have to be training for a number of years before the augmentation. All of your systems would have to be fully grown and fairly strong to endure the augmentation. Thats not really that hard.

But then theres the augmentation. Assuming, you make it passed the augmentation, which is probably fairly low. You may not even make it passed the augmentation stages.

The point is, yeah it would be great to be just like Master Chief, faster, stronger, more efficient. But whats the point if its all fake? Its not like its his fault he is the way he is, but actually wanting to volunteer for something like that? As I said, its like doing steroids and going to the weight room or gym, you will earn no respect because your abilities were given, not earned. I would rather be entirely natural then be partially fake. Just my opinion.

It would so kick ass, I could almost bench twice my body weight when I was 15 and I was so freaked out when I did it, It was GREAT. Id love to be able to bench 6-10 times my weight! Plus I do martial arts and though Im just beginning I can see results in my reaction time and coordination, think how fast you could go with mc's stuff?

dude, guys who say no obviously have never been warriors, sure I dont take steroids cause I dont want manboobs, but with mc theres a chance to have no side effects at all, unlike steroids. With the abilities he has you could be godlike! its worth the risks

Nah, its not that at all. Realistically, had the opportunity arised I dont think anyone in this topic would volunteer for such an experiment, even if our technology was equal to that of the UNSC in 2552. People like life too much to take the risk of dying for the military. On top of that, unless someone in hear is 6 years old, I think we are just a little too old to become anything like Master Chief. You'd have to go through 8 years of training. Your day starts and ends in the barracks. That means no video games, no computer, no play time. Could you all really handle that? Even if you say you could I wouldn't believe it.

I'm sorry, this isn't a personal attack on you or anything but you aren't a warrior. You said you could bench nearly 2 times your weight at 15... big deal do you know how many people can do that and so much more? You just started martial arts, I have done it for the majority of my life, 12 years straight training. On top of that I have been in the Canadian Armed Forces for about a year and a half.

Also, there are side effects, what are you talking about? Evidently you have yet to read Fall of Reach, because if you did you would know that many if not the majority of the Spartan subjects were filtered out during the augmentation, which is a kinder way of saying they were terminated or mangled to the point in which they were no use in field operations or combat arms. No side effects? You better do your homework.

I said theres a chance of not having side effects, 117 didnt have any side effects which is why hes still active, canadian armed forces? oh yeah that sure is a top notch military establishment, the canadians are well known for their military abilities and are often deployed in foreign nations and have won many wars...not.

Not to get into a fued between countries, but you once again know nothing about what you are talking about. The Canadians are one of the leading countries in UN operations, we have completed 40 of 49 UN missions, I am sure thats something that no other country has done with the exception of one, which is not the US. Second, during Operation Overlord (D-Day) on June 6th 1944, we were the only country who was able to achieve all of our objectives on the first day. We had less men, and poor equipment yet we were able to do it. Why couldn't the US. We have 3100 servicemen and women in Afghanistan helping your county in Operation Enduring Freedom, searching for the terrorist who is hiding in mountains. We sent a number of nessential service members to NYC on 9/11, some in which were killed. Also, I wouldn't want to bring up the massacre of Vietnam. 58, 000 soldiers killed for what? Lost cause. And in Iraq right now, some may argue it was a good decision, some may not, either way you sacrificed nearly 1000 men and women to catch one man, and to liberate a country that to me, is comprised of a lot of radicles which really dont care to have democracy. Of course, this isn't always the case as there are some who do. Look, Canada does their share of policing the world, we help you, we helped Kosovo, we are helping Afghanistan, and Haitie, and we also helped Britain in the Battle of Britain 1940. Please, dont speak of what you do not understand.

ill give you vietnam, but WWII was a while ago and the keyword there is helped. Afghanisnan is a joke, bush was only using it as a stepping stone for Iraq, theres more policemen in manhattan than there are troops in afghanistan, bush let osama get away.

Theres risks driving a car or using any kind of mechanical device and mc's suit is a mechanical device that isn't like taking drugs like steroids is. This just apart of your arsenal like a gun, it's just the technology that goes along with the advancements of the future.

What does how long ago WWII was have to do with anything? And Canada didn't just help, we were in the war since September of 1939, America didn't come in until 1941 after Pearl Harbor.

And it wasn't Bush's fault Osama got away, it was Clinton. Don't blaim Bush or the Bush administration for Clinton's mistakes. Bush was in office for less than a year before 9/11, how can you blaim him? Clinton had ample opportunity to take down Osama years before Bush was running for president, and he didn't. Oh yeah, and I forgot about the number of Rangers and Delta force you sent in to Somalia that were needlessly killed, and then pulled out. Why? Ask the Clinton administration.

besides, you have enough experience, cant you see the appeal of pushing yourself to the next level? increasing your potential? say the average joe who can only bench his own weight before enhancement can do five times his weight after. So you push yourself until you can do 10, 15 times your own weight. How many instances there are when you get in a fight and you wish, if only I was faster, stronger, I wouldnt even have to try, MC can kill an odst with one punch. His reflexes are so fast that he could drop a mob within a matter of seconds. its all about the power!
