I don't know exactly if you can. You do mean an actual LAN game as in a network game, as opposed to an internet game?

I think he means playing directly Peer to Peer online, on the Internet - without having to rely on the Gamespy servers.

What about the DirectIP option?

direct ip did not work

I honestly think the game is not properly designed for LAN anyway.

I've had the game for a while just never tried this until now. Thanks. But if anyone does know more pleas post:)

You (or the other person, whoever's hosting) have to Port Forward the proper ports to their IP address if you want a p2p game to work. That is, assuming DirectIP is, in fact, an actual P2P game.

Try Googling for what ports to forward for Halo PC. I'm sure something'll come up =]
