I have a question for ya'll. I was recently able to create my own Halo PC Server, but I am unable to retrieve the IP address for it. I was wondering if there is any way that I can find it out, or if I need someone else to read it for me?

And please do not say "Press F1", because it does NOT show me the Server's IP when I do it. Thank you.

are you hosting behind a router? if so, then you have to go into the router's configuration utility (consult your router's instruction book for details) and it should tell you in there somewhere. most of the time you type something in your address bar in the browser and it goes there. i havent seen any that arent like that

and ipconfig wont work in this situation, because it will tell you your internal ip address

now however, if you are directly connected to the internet (like dialup), you can run cmd, and type ipconfig and it will tell you there. (while you are connected of course)

Yes, I am hosting behind a router. Yes, it shows me my internal IP address. Yes I know how to get into my router's configuration utility. No, I was unable to find out where the IP was. =P. Thanks you Heero139. Do ya have any more info for me?

Search IP address on google. It tells you the address that the web is connecting to.
