I haven't heard this talked about before in the forums. But in Halo 1 it seemed to be a bad thing that you could only max the frag limit to 50 when some people wanted a higher limit. Therefore people turned to Action Replay and other resources to alter the frag limit. What do think the frag limit should be if any in Halo 2?

yeah i would say unlimited frags but yet again somone will find a way to get billions of kills and no deaths with that so you always got to have a limit.
I voted 100 because cmon you cant get that many kills even in a 20 min round

i think it should be 5, 10, 15, 25, 50, 100, unlimited. as the choices.
Time should be setable to. 1 min, 2 min, 5 min, 10 min, 20min, 30min, 1hr, 2 hr, unlimited

this would give you a wide variety of possibilities for a near infinate number of games. If bungie did this (And i hope they do) You wont need the action replay (IF it will even work)

It would also be great for a server frag fest with no round ending for Complete Death Match.

thatd be pretty cool, unlimited frags, no time limit. some guy can play for days and get like, a trillion kills..he'll be declared the KING

but it would get kinda boring, knowing no frag limit and no time limit means the same map...and same game type..

NO Capturing flags LIMIT. theres a good idea.

You can just set up a CTF game and tell no one to capture the flag. And if your teams are big enough, even enough, and you set the respawn to 0, there is no way to capture the damn flag.

yeah, but i mean its not that i dont wanna capture the flag, theres no point in CTF for that matter. just think about unlimited captures..i mean, if i get one or 2 captures im happy, in unlimited you can get like...alot.

But then your game also has indefinite goals. You have no reason to try winning. I'd perfer to see a system where the first team to get three more flag captures than the other team wins. You would need to have 5 captures if the other team had 2 already. This way, it really becomes a game of who won, not, "It was a great game, 2-2, and several times we almost got their flag and they almost got ours, but in the end, random chance dictated that our flad waited a few extra seconds for them to pick it up rather than wait very few like theirs did for us."

And another thing, what's up with not being able to return a flag or having it return on its own? Why not have it so the only way to return a flag is to walk it back? Make it real.

I agree but mabey it should go to 200 kills or at least 150 cause even if you have 100 kills that can still be a pretty fast game if you have a lot of really good people

i think 200 is perfect, 8 person teams, if your in a ts match with 7 other people getting kills for your team, you'll hit 200 pretty quickly,(only 25 kills for each guy), i think 200 is great, although unlimited would allow that little bit of freedom to mess around forever w/no restarting

heres an idea. maybe instead of intravals, we could set like 1 min 2 min 3 min 4 min 56 min or like 178 kills if we want. yes i believ 200 would be a great idea.

You should just be allowed to set your own number of frags, and or time limit...just incorporate a counter you can adjust to the perfect level...say for some sick and twisted reason you would want a frag limit of 319, just scroll to that number and you are all set....that gives everyone what they want
