Microsoft pulled the Halo Trial from their download center.

If you are still interested it can be downloaded from File Planet and File Front or Direct Download

Oh for Christ's sake what a sob story if you can't 20 bucks for the full version you shouldn't own a computer.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I have Halo PC, but I sometimes play the Trial when there are no good games on Halo CE.

for whatever reason trial runs much much faster for me, more than double fps on all highest settings.

there's really no reason to play trial if you have full version, unless you just want to ensure you get a good classic game on bloodgulch (though there are ways to change gametypes). Also people on trial tend to be much worse, so if i ever feel like slaughtering an entire server, especially with everyone on trial magnetically attracted to banshees, I'll go there.

Add me to your friends list if you haven't already. It's a lot more fun to play with people from The Maw and people I know than random noobs.

I remember when I first got the Halo trial. That's what got me to buy the full version.

I noticed this at least a month ago when I would try to play it in school. Oh well, it's still available elsewhere so it's not a big deal.
