I think we've all visited that site before. It kicks ass. If you haven't, you need to reevalutate your whole life.
Does Jay have to reevaluate Jay's whole life for not being a fan of that human fool? If he(?) were addressing something very important, it would be a noble effort. That doesn't seem to be the case, though. All the author's doing is spending an incredible amount of time ranting about how smart he is for his endless rants about how everything sucks. Jay likes to think that Jay's smart enough to leave the fools to themselves and try to live Jay's own life. We do, after all, have the freedom to be as stoopid and useless as we want; it's part of what we call modern civilization. Jay thinks that we have little authority to be putting people down for choosing mental sloth and even less to call people stupid for having different aesthetic preferences just because we happen to prefer the pride that comes from knowing that we pull our own weight in society and think for ourselves. It really is cruel to rub it in the faces of those who choose mental sloth and force us to live in the society they create.
