Yep, directed at rip29. And no you're not hardcore ... you were clueless as to the state of the builld of the game or what you would be playing and you had no idea that there was a demo played at E3. These are extremely basic facts as far as knowing what's going on with Halo2 and Bungie that you would expect anyone even remotely interested in the game to know, let alone a "hardcore" fan.
No, being "rich" is not required, maybe smart like me to get an HDTV 120" big "screen" for 1/2 the price of a normal "big" screen. Yep, split 4 ways that a 60" for each, bet you didn't know the "dot" in the center of the sniper reticle is another smaller reticle ... really helps for nailing those head-shots during our chapters bi-weekly Halo LAN parties, or chapter $ tournaments, or tournaments we run for local conventions.
I just feel the bitterness dripping from you bro, this whole freaking topic is stinking of the -blam!-. Everyone who did'nt go has to find something to try and rip on about the contest or those that were selected. Man just stop the hate , don't hate the player bro, hate the game.
Hate the game?!?! Man, what are you nuts?!?! I'd never hate the game!!! As far as bitterness, yes there probably is some. We took our time thinking of creative ways to show our enthusiasm for Halo2 and Mt. Dew (seeing as how the contest was supposed to be judged on creativity and enthusiasm) because we didn't want to be just another group sending in dumb pictures of "hey, here we are with some TVs and some Mt. Dew playing Halo, whoopeee". Guess we should have just stuck with that after all though, huh? It worked for 2/3 groups that won. But with the "beauty contest" aspect of this competition, I would bet we never really had a chance no matter what we did. Hey, is that why only 3 of your group went? Did Mt. Dew discount the other 3 because they weren't good looking enough?? LOL!
