I wonder if MC's new armor will have a place to put his secondary weapon/ammo/grenades. I always wondered where he put them.

Unfortunately, that's the one thing I really wished for in Halo2 and it doesn't look like I'm going to get. I wanted to be able to see a rifle slung across a Spartan's back, and his pistols sized weapons on his hips or thighs when not in use. You could always claim that they were held on with magnetic induction pads or whatever instead of holsters.

There's nothing more annoying then pulling out your pistol, scoping out two unsuspecting enemies and noting their current weaponry only to see them flip out a rocket launcher from his pants pocket when you approached in your Ghost.

I even used that to my advantage in a race. I jumped out and charged his warthog with a sniper rifle, the guy laughed as they pinged off his windshield and then attempted to run me over. I whipped out my invisible rocket launcher at the last moment and hopped in my new ride.

lol, yeah i do that too. nothing gives me a feeling of, shall we say, happiness, than hearing them yell "HOLY S*IT!" when i pull out a rocket on their fully loaded hog (as in gunner, passenger, and driver).

yeah my friends are so stupid. they ALWAYS do that even when they are in a ghost which can strafe. they still just charge head-on towards me. they never learn

At least (unlike most games) he can only cary a realistic two weapons instead of having a whole armory shoved down his pants.

Odd... I've never seen a helt on him before, let alone one with a pistol/grenades on it.

In one of the books it says that the master chief tapes ammo/clips to his chest and thighs for fast access

edit:I think it was first strike

In very, VERY early versions of Halo, secondary weapons were clipped horizontaly across his shoulder section.

I dunno what it says in the books, but I always thought he had one of those contaiment things, like when he punches in Captain Keywe's Face and put s the chip in his helmet containment thingy...
