They care, but their priority is Halo 3, as it is a lot more popular, and deserves the most attention.

All great things end some day :[

Since organized communities are usually more enjoyable, you should take your time to read the forum rules to save yourself some trouble and help keep the forums clean :-)

Just because a game isn't updated or changed at all anymore doesn't meant that its developer doesn't care for it more. It just means that the future has come, and they've got to focus on what is directly in front of them right now. Updating a game that's had its glory days instead of creating something entirely new and fresh doesn't seem like the best of choices.

Hell, we were lucky enough to get last Desolation and that Hang Em' High remake (forgot the name of it) as it is. =X

It's been superceded. What do you expect? It's a five year old game for an eight year old platform, both of which have had newer versions released.

RIP Halo 2

Well, they haven't forgot about it, but there's a very small population that plays Halo 2. They should spend more time on Halo 3.

But I really miss the days when Halo 2 was played by everyone and you didn't have to wait to find a match. In my opinion, it was honestly the perfect game. It had glitches, but they were fun. The graphics weren't incredible, but they were good and they were perfect for that game. I really wish Bungie would make some remake of Halo 2 or something. I just want to play it again while a lot of others do.

If I had a Rocket Launcher...

Shut up and get behind me... Sir!

The cable. I'm going to cut it.

Awesomeness would ensue.

I want some Pathways into Darkness love.

In short, as the above users have said, the glory days of Halo 2 are long gone. Bungie would much rather you go buy Halo 3; more money that way. As Halo 3 is more popular population size-wise, it only makes sense to place more emphasis on it.

The legacy of Halo 2 will live on, but it's time for Bungie to let go.
