Too bad, he's going to jail fairly soon.

I still think the girl was just a bipolar ho. But that's just me.

They should of got rid of that loser and fought to keep shaq. Kobe is full of himself, if they would of kept his butt of the court the lakers would of won this year.

did you watch game three of the finals. kobe was like 2 for 23....
Shaq was the only guy on the team playing like he wanted to win.
Kobe was trying to hot shot his way through the game and kept missing.
This is not just an opinion, this is a statement of fact.

Dude I can't believe they lost to detroit. i mean the timberwolves/spurs are way better teams. If Kobe/Shaq would have at least try to win they would have. I mean the bench was doing great. Why Kobe/Shaq why?

No, Detroit was the better team. The Lakers learned in the Finals that chemistry is key to winning a championship, and not Karl Malone running into the hoop full-speed with a flop lay-up being ready to happen; the Lakers lost because the Pistons were better, simple as that

Sorry, that's opinion

And don't pick a single game to support your fact; Kobe brought them through the San Antonio series, and even through the Timberwolves

And I haven't even mentioned the help that he gave to the Lakers by putting them, literally by himself, into the second seed in the West - think the last game of the year, against Portland

I wouldn't say they were the better team, the lakers had what it takes, but the Pistons wanted to win, the lakers just didn't have that drive to be champions, and yes i agree, i think the lack of drive was due to chemistry.

for the guy who said Shaq is poopoo http://www.nba.com/lakers/stats/
read it, shut up, go home.

thanks.

No, man I have to disagree with you there. Detroit was a damn good team [hell thats how they made to the finals], but if Shaq/Kobe even tried the lackers could of taken it. EZ.

A single game was enough to LOSE the championship.
FACT.

Kobe took the word team and flushed it down his gold plated toilet. You can't deny that.

thats what i mean Shaq/Kobe didn't have the drive, man. Shaq know he was leaving LA long before the final. So he just didn't care any more.

You got it wrong.... throughout the championship it was Kobe who played alone, without his team, thus he had the worse average for shots. Shaq was playing extra hard, and playing WITH the team. I believe the lakers would of been out at game 4 if not for shaq trying so hard.

I can

Explain to me who's gonna win the game in quarter number 4 of each game, it's Kobe. With Shaq shooting, or excuse me, throwing with one hand a brick for his freethrows, he doesn't exist in the fourth. That isn't exactly an argument I'd make to say how Kobe is better than Shaq, but it's something that I could use to explain to somebody why Shaq is less valuable

Shaq and Kobe both had horrible games - game 3, yuck - but to pin the entire series on a single player not only is wrong, but is said without merit from what can be seen from actually watching the games, and through an analysis of the stats

The Lakers lost as a team, and more specifically, they lost because they forgot how to play defense. Kobe and Shaq, for the most part, did show up on defense, but the rest didn't. GP became a ghost, Mailman was hurt (I guess), and people like Rick Fox seemed to have lost all of their game. Team effort

No offense Maka, but Kobe's shot reminds me of a squabbling chicken. It has no grace and definately is not as good as you make it sound. Kobe it's cut-throat-try-to-get-it-to-the-hoop guy, not too different from Shaq (other than Shaq kind of stands and pushes his way through). Needless to say, Kobe is NOT an outside shooter by any means. And of COURSE he'll be better than Shaq at this, Shaq is a bloody center.

Yeah, MakaVeli4LIfe1 but i mean the bench was on the game i mean did you see Walton in game 2, Rush in the Timberwolves series, and that 0.4 second shot hell. GP was crap. Malone was injuried, and Kobe/Shaq just gave up.
