I was thinking about it. If someone were to acctually do one of those 16 TV halo 2 LAN parties... it would cost 800 dollars in copies of Halo.

2400 Dollars in Xboxs

and 6400 in TVs (assuming they are all 400 bucks)

Now I know that people would bring their own tvs and xboxs and stuff but still, that is a lot of money. But lets say someone wanted to open up a LAN Party shop thing (there is one in my area) that is almost 10000 dollar investment. Dont really know what the point of posting this is but that is alot of money.

Your kinda forgetting you can use 4 tv's....
we usually only have 8-12 people and we can dig up an extra tv, controllers and xbox's arent a problem

I think draag is talking about halo2's capability of having one xbox per tv in a 16 player lan game. halo only supports 4 xboxs with 4 players per screen.

it's still easier to split screen, one person is tank camping, another is sniping, and the tank dude can see the snipers screen and bombard their positions :D

then you do 1 team on 1 tv and another team on another tv, and your doing FFA screenlooking is for noobs, just yell at em

and no 35' by 35' is no where near big enough for 16 tv's SIXTEEN!!!
bar minimum you would probably need like 45'45 with no furniture and about 8 sockets with splitters

There is no furniture in the room. We held a LAN party in there already and we had 6 TVs (4 for Halo, 2 for RTCW) and there was PLENTY of room.
