I'm just wondering, could there be some kind of lag program? What I mean by this is that you could theoretically send someone too much data to lag them out of a game? The reason why I brought this up is because today and previously I have been playing, my usual ping of 250-300, and no x-box. So today I was playing a 1 on 1 on a random dedicated server and I was kicking this guy's butt and suddenly I get disconnected for no reason other than "network lost". This has happened before in other games of random amounts of people, except for empty servers.

Yes, I have dial-up but the connection is steady. No crap on the comp.

If there is a lag dropper, this could be a problem...

It's just your connection dude... You WILL experience this 'connection lost' problem quite a bit...

When I used to have dial-up I had the same problem, my brother currently has dial-up... he has it. The only real remedy is to try and obtain a better connection. Sorry man, but you'll just have to live with it or upgrade :-(

well, i know that. its just that "what if?" someone in the game gets your ip, boots up the program, and BAM! sends you an overload of packets which drops you from the game because the connection cant handle that ammount
