It would only be complicated if you chose to use it. Meaning that if you just pulled and released the trigger as normal there would be no apparent change to game play. So you could stay simple or take on some more strategic elements.

Well to do that with a plasma is suicide. The grenade would fuse to our hand. As for a frag, it has a short fuse as it is, so that would not be a good idea.

ok, but the fuse starts once it hits the ground right, I just think there's too much time to get out of the way in almost all instances and this could provide more balance to that.

too much time?!!! are you talking about the plasma grenades or frag. the plasma has a longer fuse.

some grenades that start counting as soon as you pull the pin, cooking is holding one of those grenades until it almost blows up and then you trhow. like in wolfenstein.

As long as you are still able to throw them normally as well as cooking them I am happy.

gernades bounce three times before exploding so it wouldn't matter but it would be good for plasma gernades but really the only pooint of the plasma is to stick it too the person so the timer doesn't really matter.

One of my favorite grenade tricks is bank shotting them off of walls, thus starting the timer before it reaches the target. This cuts down on the ability of a person to leap out of the way.

It may not be cooking, but it's more skill based.

theres getting to be too much complexity for halo 2 ideas, you have to keep the game simple so people can actually play it not be figuring out all the buttons for the first 2 weeks
