Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Cityscape is the best. It looks hand done.

I agree, Cityscape is definitely my favorite.
Great work.

What media did you use to create these?

The original sketches were done by hand and then scaned into my computer. From here I imported them into "Adobephotoshop CS2" and used the sketches to create assitate like layers. This allowed me to lay the colour beneath the actual image. This way there was less chance of me making a mistake. If you have "Photoshop CS2" and want to try this. You'll need to make a sketch and Scan it. Once you have it open in photoshop, you can adjust the levels (Ctrl + L) to make the black lines apear more bolder. Then enter this combination

Ctrl + Alt + 1 = Ctrl + Shift + I = Ctrl + J. This will leave you with the original image and a layer that will only show the lines with a transparant background. You can then insert layers beneath this to apply colour to your image.

Enjoy creating your own works and hope that this helps you.

whow, nice pictures mate. hope you're as good at the game as you are at drawing Halo pics. Keep it up. I expect nothing but good things from you. Soon as I get Photoshop, I'll give that technique a try. Obviously they won't be as good as your's. And don't forget to keep forging mint maps.

I like the first two but Cityscape is best. Even though they're pretty simple they both have a soothing feeling.
