no halo for the PC has the identical campaign of Halo xbox, right down to the cutscenes and gameplay. The only new thing, though i think this might be in xbox as well, is that for each difficulty on the Pillar of Autumn level the Sarge has a different speech for the marines. Otherwise the order of levels and gameplay (i.e where enemies are, weapons, etc.) are the exact same.
However by buying Halo PC u also are able to play online with up to 16 people in a game on all the clssic maps from Halo multiplayer as well on 5 or so new maps. Also new to multiplayer is a fuel rod gun, which fires like the one from campaign, and works on a charge like other plasma weapons, also another addition is the rocket warthog, which looks & handles the exact same as the original hog, but it's got a sweet black decour with a tri-barelled rocket launcher on back that can fire 3 rockets before having to reload, also the rocket launcher has infinite ammo and can rotate and move up & down, just like the chain gun on the original hog,
If u have a relatively new PC with a good graphics card, and good interenet (like, not dial-up) i really suggest u get Halo PC just for the multiplayer alone.
