urk, you keep talking to the people who never played objective, but can you please explain to those of us that play objective on a regular basis.
Objective is a core playlist and has been around since the beginning, it provides a playlist for those people that want to use strategy to win. Removing objective just doesnt seem right...
I'm willing to listen to your side though, if you would like to respond
There's never going to be a solution that caters perfectly to everyone's playstyle. Part of what makes Halo 3 different is the wide variety of players it appeals to. Unfortunately, due to both matchmaking restrictions and population concerns, Shishka has to carefully weigh out which playlists continue to see support and which do not. And he doesn't make these decisions lightly, nor does he make them without input from the rest of Bungie and the community-at-large.
Obviously, that's little consolation to those here that play a ton of Team Objective. For now, you'll have to make due with the other playlists that support a mix of Slayer and Objective gametypes. That doesn't mean there won't be some more objective love in the future (this isn't a promise, either), but for now Team Objective wasn't being supported enough by players to warrant its existence as a full time playlist.
thanks for your input urk, while i cant say im thrilled, i understand where your coming from.
~so many playlists so little bandwidth(or something of that sort)
ive been looking thru the playlists and social team dlc has a considerably lower amount of players than objective, and when we already have team mythic, this just seems rather redundant,
any chance of removing social team dlc instead of team objective?
Or am i missing something important there?
Once again thanks for your explanation urk.
