Whether it's been stated or not, everything said here is subject to change and wont be confirmed until the game is in your XBox. Personally, I'd rather NOT be able to holster both weapons, gameplay issues aside. I'd rather dual wielding be a temporary thing you use to overpower someon, not something you have in your back pocket whenever you want. Just my opinion

Yeah, i agree with you, thats a much smarter idea... (even though that is how its implemented). I always thought of it, as in gameplay reasons... He should be able to pocket both weapons... its rediculous...

Probably won't be the same since the "Y" button is to pick up the other weapon. I bet it will be the "B" button since you cant meele, and to switch back it would be the "Y" button. Thats just what I think, I could be wrong but then again you never know.

no...that would be too complicated a system...it will be "Y", 'cause "B" (when dual wielding) throws down the second weapon

ok listen duel wielding is not retarted remember in the first halo you had 2 holsters one for prime wep and one for sub wep lets say you got one smg and a battle rifle you want to use the smg you put the rifle in your first holster thus leaving one holster left correct? well lets say you find another smg now your dual wielding wala awsome your in the heat of battle, you run out of ammo so you put both smgs in different holsters since you have 2 holster spots!and now your wielding you battle rifle, wow all of a sudden it become more logical?

Ok, i didn't have much time to read through all of the posts so I don't know how well this has been answered yet, but if you read the FAQ on bungie.net halo2 site, it explains how both dual wielding and boarding work....with which buttons and everything. (at least I think this is where I read it)
