Since Halo’s launch, I’ve kept my sensitivity at the pedestrian Default Setting (3); I haven’t changed it since nor do I have any intention of changing it. It works for me, and I react to it pretty intuitively for just about any situation, plus it gives me pretty good accuracy at just about any speed of running/falling/jumping/etc.

After playing in a few tournaments and getting a feel for players outside my own circle, it became apparent that players of all skills were using the full-scale of sensitivities. Most people I talk to almost unanimously suggest using the highest sensitivity tolerable by my puny human brain, but some of the best players at the tournament had theirs set at 1.

Anybody have their own ideas/pros/cons for their personal sensitivity levels?

I have two profiles I use. If there is a lot of cover for sniping, I like the sens to be at 6. If there is not going to be much cover to snipe I put it at 7.

10 sesitivity.
Pros: Move really fast (obvisouly), someone thinks they got the drop on you becuase they're behind, they better think again.
Aim a mulitple targets quickly, helpful when surrounded and you have a shotgun.
Move the sniper really fast, no more would-be victims outrunning your scope.
Can make MC have a seizer by point right stick left or right

Cons:Need really good aim (me) and can't push the stick all the way when aimming, or you'll overshoot.
Vehicle turrets might not keep up, and you'll find yourself whith a backwards turret.

I use a sensitivity of 10 whenever I play. Not everybody will use 10, as it is really a matter of preferences, but take note that a sensitivity of 10 will give you certain advantages in some situations, if you get used to it.

Use what feels right.
