Here's roughly what the trailer consists of, based on the (just slightly incomplete) clip and what people who saw it at the cinemas have reported:
It starts out with epic/orchestral drumming music and the words THIS / IS US on a black screen. Then the Earth fades into view, getting more and more illuminated as if through a sunrise.
The music continues and a flurry of fast clips ensues, including some from E3 2003 when the Pelican sweeps in over New Mombasa, Elites land their pods in front of the Master Chief on the highway, Elites activating their energy swords. Fades to black again and displays WE'RE NOT READY. The Master Chief fades into view, locks and loads a combat rifle with a pronounced click-clack. More rapid flashes from the gunning/driving sequence on the highway and the dual SMG:s-wielding part from E3 2003, and then fade to black again with the words HE IS.
After this comes the new and what most people seem to consider the best part of the trailer: The main, epic-opera-sounding Halo-theme starts playing over the original "orchestral drumming" and the Master Chief fades into view standing on some kind of rock/ruin-like structure, surrounded by flames (like the picture on the box-cover). He's holding two SMG:s, slowly looks around/behind him, and then assumes a crouching position as smaller Covenant ships (flying ones, not really Ghosts.. Seraphs maybe?) pass over him. The camera zooms in on him, and he lifts his SMG:s to face-level, and jumps off-screen.
The H2-logo appears against a similar fiery/explosive background, hovers for some seconds, and is replaced by the text 'HALO' with 'NOVEMBER 9' in smaller text under it. Typical speaker-voice goes "Rated M for Mature." X-Box-logo pops up, and that's that.
The entire trailer-clip lasts about 32 seconds.
