Hahaha! I see that ol' Johnston is back up to his same bag of tricks. And that everyone else is up to the challenge of, well, beating him to death and trapping him with his own words. :D
Time to throw my two cents in.
See, Johnston, what I think Pet0sh was talking about was that your post made little-to-no actual sense. Not that you didn't know about the Halo trial or whatever you wanted him to mean.
Oh, well look, there's your problem... Nearly everything past your first sentence and a half is either wrong, misinformation, or otherwise unintelligible:

Using this Halo CE Trial tends to make the game lag.You can lower your frame rate on your video settings,on the menu or on a game.Set it to 800x600 and 56Hz that's the lowest to set for your frame rate.If it doesn't work,Cancel Download,Uninstall things that you won't need or exit the applications with online connection statuses.
First off, you'd want to be increasing your framerate. The method you describe (lowest resolution settings) is a way to increase framerate. So is toggling processor-intensive graphical options and/or trying a different rendering system (Direct3d/OpenGL/software rendering). I don't know if those options are in Halo PC, as I don't have the PC version, but if they are, OP, they might help reduce lag.
Second, monitor frequency has nothing to do with network or processor-based lag. It deals with how the monitor displays the data coming from the computer, and it's mainly used to correct screen flicker, either via game or monitor settings. I'd recommend that you keep the frequency at whatever works for you. Again, I don't have the game, but since he made mention of the frequency, I figured I might as well share my counterpoint.
Finally, that last sentence, after careful decoding, actually holds semi-decent advice. However, it's so poorly stated and close to common sense that it's not really all that worth it. Here's a better way of saying it - "If it doesn't work, close any other open programs, try to free up some more disk space, and try again." You'd probably only need to go as far as to close other open programs, though, especially if your computer is anywhere near recent. Unless you keep your hard drive overcrowded.
Anyway, hope that cleared up THAT. Johnston - get an actual life, you twit. Learn when to shut your mouth, apologize, and/or back down. All you seem to do is lie about being so MLG Pro on H2v (which has been, at this point, proven impossible. Say it so much that it has to be true?), lie about how generally knowledgeable, powerful and overall better you are, and make websites and posts in an effort to prove those lies. I mean, seriously, take a couple breaks in your day for something other than when your mom makes you take out the garbage or do your homework, or you feel the need to complain about the mean internet people. Maybe it'd make you a little more MLG Pro at life.
Edited because I bolded the wrong word. That's what I get for some pretty hardcore insomnia... =_=
