Well in lieu of all the common (and boring) threads on computer help and technicalities I decided to spice up your daily reading with an interesting thing that pertains to Halo PC, a string of letters on the back of the Halo PC box that go by: ILWNL
So to those unacquainted to this "secret" string of letters on the back of the Halo PC box, u must first go back to all of Bungie's products, almost every single thing from Bungie, from the soundtracks to the games there has almost always been a string of capital letters on the back of each box,
In particular the string of letters on the back of the Halo 2 soundtrack has stirred some large controversy among Halo 2 players because of the fact that each capital letter corresponds with the name of each skull, and some think that by getting each skull in order by the string of letters will unlock incredible secrets or events in Halo 2.
Well, I don't know about any weird skull cheats but as is well known, if u look on the back of the large Halo PC box, at the bottom in small grey text are the letters: ILWNL
although a couple of these codes have been figured out, and others people haven't even a clue as to what they are, but with this one some people think the code is " I Love Windows Not Linux" However this open to debate as Bungie has neither confirmed or denied this is the code.
Anyways any ideas as to what this code means are welcome:
To start off here's one idea: "I love War not life"
Or: "I'll live with no lies" possible pertaining to the fact that Halo for PC & Mac came out so late.
UPDATE 5/17/05
Okay so far this thread has been getting some seriously sweet contribution and I'd like to thank everyone who made some of that sweetness :) Okay because there have been quite a few good suggestions I'm reprinting what I THINK are the most plausible ones, PM me if you have another suggestion, or even better just post your suggestion in this thread. So, here is the code; reviled:
P.S even though Gearbox did port Halo to the PC, because Bungie had a direct role in testing it as well as developing it BUNGIE not GEARBOX probably inserted this secret code onto the Halo PC box as is Bungie tradition.
I Love Windows Not Linux
Possibly referring to Bungie's affinity with MS operating systems, not too surprising as Microsoft DOES own them.
I Love Wicked Nasty Lag
Hmmm, since Bungie DID test out and run Halo PC maybe they also foresaw the terrible lag that would befall us Halo PC players, and gave us a subtle warning...

IL We Never Left
Possibly referring to Bungie's old pad in the pre-MS days, located in none other than Chicago, IL. Coincidence? I think not! As well, truth be told, probably the most likely solution to our little code, provided by none other than Mr. Recon #54 himself.
And finally: ..............
I Like Writing Nonsensical Letters...now beat that! No seriously try. Is Bungie poking fun at itself? I think this one was intended as a joke, but it might be closer to the answer then some think.
This one provided humourlessly by none other than: Chewy Gumball
Okay, so that's the pick of the bunch and hopefully at least ONE of them will be correct... hopefully.
