"Let's pump some butts."

Whenever I post about the Weekly Update, I usually keep my praise or disdain on the entire studio. This update was [pause] different to me for some reason. I think I know what that reason was. It is a new-found respect for Urk. Yes you my friend. I do not know what determines the amount and type of information you give us, but the delivery is really impressive. I always read the updates, but I don't always post. I read it on Friday like usual, but instead of posting right away I decided to let it digest for awhile. It seems even my highly developed and college-hardened brain couldn't unriddle the riddles (if there were any) of the fishbowl [another pause] at first. I have as yet drawn no concrete conclusions, but I have guesses that seem to make sense. I think Urk is trying to prove himself. He is still a new guy compared to Grizzled Ancients like Marty (well, who isn't young compared to Marty?). That was not a good example. I have it. Young compared to Lukems. Nailed it. I think there is more to Urk than meets the eyes or ears, if you listen to the podcast. He has something to prove and he has to me. I have not been this curious and eager for the product that is next weeks Update and/or what comes out at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The goings-on inside the studio's fishbowl are something to be watched intently in the coming weeks and months. What are the intriguing thuds and vibrations making their way to Urk's ears? Is this ODST or "the next big thing?" From Urk's words I take it we will have at least an inkling of what was happening in there in next weeek's Update. Let's hope so. The line that comes to me from that scene described by Urk in that Steven Speilburg classic would be Ian Malcolm's when he says, "When you gotta go, you gotta go." And now I gotta go. Until next week, AWOL out.
