They should be praised for stopping people from going out and committing these acts in real life.

Parents need to better understand what kind of things happen in violent games. Being 18 now, it doesnt really affect me because i am officially an adult and can drink, go and watch an 18 film, yadda yadda yadda.

Parents need to know what their kids are playing, and moderate it. Kids need to stop being dumbasses and stop thinking stuff on tv and video games in any way reflects real life. Though most of the time I think they just use violent video games/tv as an excuse to take blame of themselves (themselves being both kids and their parents, mainly the parents).

I don't think game restrictions should be based on age. Many people become...'accustomed' to large amounts of violence before they reach the mature age set by the entertainment industry of 17. Take me for example. I'm 16, and I played my first M rated game when I was 10, and I have seen R movies since I was seven, though I most likely didn't understand what was going on. And I right now am actually a peacefull person. I have never risin a hand in anger torwards another in years. Game labels really have no meaning to me now. I actually think restricting your child from getting these games or movies will make them more eager to play them, possibly rising the possibility of them being negatively effected by the games.

Though people say games and movies have effected me because I wantto join the Marines after high school. My reasons are not because of bloodlust but because it is somewhat a familiy tradition to join the military. Plus some more stuff but I could go on forever.
