I just noticed that in Halo 2 you can see yourself! I don't know if it'e been discovered by anyone else yet, if so, sorry i've not been keeping up with the forums very well lately. Anyway, this breaks the mold that's been set by First Person Shooters all along. The only game to try to get around it was "breakdown" but that game sucked. WHat I mean by being able to "see yourself" is, if you look at the ground, you can see your feet. Kinda like at the beginning of halo when you see your body in the cryo chamber, but when you step out, you are invisible to yourself. Check out www.gametrailers.com and watch the kikizo trailer of halo 2 and at the beginning, when the guy jumps off a platform, you can see his legs.

Many games have done this in the past, Breakdown (as you said), Operation Flashpoint, The Chronicles of Riddick, and I am sure there are more out there.

Oh yeah i remember him saying that. In Chronicles of Riddick, however, you can't see Vin Diesel's legs. Never played operation flashpoint.
