As you may be well aware of, there is a new version of game play that we are not used to in the Halo world. It can be compared to the bonus levels of the PC edition of The Lord of the Rings; Return of the King, or more commonly; Horde mode from Gears of War 2 or the general effect of...'zombie mode'.
Well Halo: ODST's got it. It's called Firefight. If you are not well aware; here is a link that you can click on and read the information to fill your mind with many possibilities.
Scroll down to where it says, "4-Player Co-Op Firefight"
It is a whole new campaign within a campaign. I will show some pictures of it to get your mind hyped up even more than it is already.
Gonna Hurt
Propelled
Coming in Hot
Smacked
Hunted
Phalanx
Incoming
And etc. Some of the pictures more near the end...I'm not sure of those are still Firefight or not.
If you noticed, and if you look above at the five ODST's that are in the link thing you click...just look five or so inches above this post...see what I mean? There is different ODST armor. You don't think that...Bungie has another secret...more ODST armor. If you remember correctly, in Halo 3, all we have is the ODST helmet; nothing more and nothing less. Even if we do not get more ODST armor to choose from for Halo 3 and Halo: ODST's combined multiplayer, what if we get to customize our own ODST? Think of it as Star Wars: Republic Commando. I would expect that it is pretty well the same. Instead of (like in Halo: Combat Evolved-Halo 3) the main character and the armor you choose from (mostly Halo 3) wrapping around a Spartan...what if it were similar to that...but it was all based around ODST's?
Now obviously, you can't transfer characters from Halo: ODST to Halo 3's multiplayer...or can you? That question is going to have to be answered by somebody who knows what they're talking about...and nobody does except for Bungie, but they're not saying anything else yet. We'll just have to see after events of this week turn out and how they turn out.
So here's what I'm thinking. For either the campaign of ODST or for FIREFIGHT, we get to choose our armor. Once again (looking at the top), we seem to have many choices on ODST armor combinations...so...what now Bungie? Are we just going to get stuck in the Rookie's armor? Give us some answers!
Also, I must add that the girl in the Recon (Dare) looks like she has a very large head. Graphics mistake perhaps? Not trying to be picky but...it looks horrible!
Doesn't it remind you of Donkey Kong? Let me take some pictures and load them real quick...taking forever...

So as you can see...not so much. Still, I <3 you, Bungie!
EDIT: I just found something real cool. The service tags are different. If you look at this in-game screenshot, well...look for yourself.
Coming in Hot
From this, we can gather that there might be a greater chance of this happening than I anticipated. The service tags that we see are;
N812
SHVA
U180
This is in Firefight. Interesting.
