in the trailer it said falls 2010. fall(S) 2010, not fall 2010. falls refers to the fall of the planet reach, not fall itself. So do you guys think the game could be released sooner?

Maybe halfway through the year?

Bungie Pentathlon - who actually cares ?

No, why speculate about the release date already? 2010 is all you need to know and more than likely you will be falling in errr fall. Just enjoy the content.

Probably not they will use odst until they start to lose people then they will announce the release.

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing but I was too lazy to make a thread about it. If you look in the banner in the top it too says falls and not Fall. I'm guessing that people just heard fall and we already know that ODST comes out in the Fall so they connected the two.

Nothing is better than gaming through the day, into the night, then back into the day. It's like when you finally push that power button you feel like you've accomplished nothing, but at the same time, you can't stop smiling.

If I remember correctly, the planet Reach was attack on August 30th 2552. Could "Falls 2010" possibly be a reference to the month as well?

I sure as hell hope so!

I would love for there to be a beta bundled with ODST but I doubt it would happen.

It makes business sense though, it would definitely increase the value of ODST, which is just an expansion.

They could add the beta and jack the price up knowing that we're all going to buy it in 2010 anyways.

either september (release of halo 3 and halo ODST) or november (halo 1 & 2) of 2010. I can almost guarentee that, especially because fall is the prime season to sell games, and its in bungie's past...

Probably mid-late 2010.

I think Falls 2010 was also a reference to Fall 2010. Why else would they use that word? I know the whole "fall of reach thing" you don't need to explain it. But if we can find out when the beta starts we can guess from there.
