These hands you see before you will end the light of day. Your ashes will be cast into the wind! Your blood's upon the soil, your body fed to wolves, not one of you will be left alive...!Hand of Doom by Manowar
It seems that the price for Halo 3 : ODST is 59,99. If you include the maps and the campaign, it's not that much. But what if, like most fans, we already bought the maps? The price is still included in the price of the game, so it's like paying twice for it. Not fair much? Can't wait for the game, I'm not flaming. I'm just asking what you guys think!
TH3 L3G3ND of Halo.I'm a walking paradox.
Yeah i know....I hope they find a way . They are also doing in this Gears of War 2 when i have the maps already.
There are three exclusive maps, plus the Firefight mode, multiplayer, campaign...Partially for the people who don't have Xbox Live and are unable to get the maps as a result.
Posted by: WolfmanMaverickYou people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.
Meh. I don't mind. At least I won't have to download the maps again if my 360 breaks.
Fyrum; An awesome site to share equally awesome content. Best Pic Ever
By having the maps on a disc you won't have to go into custom games to load the maps before matchmaking - you can play the new maps at friends house's easier. Also, Halo 3 ODST will probably be worth it - that's just putting faith in Bungie though.
Maybe I will never beAll the things that I wanna beBut now is not the time to cryNow's the time to find out whyI think you're the same as meWe see things they'll never see You and I are gonna live forever
No.
I guess that depends on your point of view.I look at it as an opportunity to kill the maps off of my Hard Drive.
Posted by: Achilles1108Meh. I don't mind. At least I won't have to download the maps again if my 360 breaks.I agree with you 100%. Because nothing sucks more than retrieving lost game data when the console is at the repair shop.
Pleasing your girlfriend since 1984.
Consider the price being everything else you get along with it.
Do you think I suck? Do you haet me for my opinion?Don't fear! Join The Anti USGov League and flame me freely!
I'd rather have a physical copy of the maps in case my 360 spontaneously combusted, like most of them do these days. And to be honest, I don't mind paying twice. At least I know the money is going to be used well.
Why not stop by my File Share while you're here? ~Long Live Halo 2 Only regret is I didn't play more of it.If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

My Halo 3 disc is already scratched as is. New disc, plus the last 3 maps, plus all the empty HDD space from removing the old maps, plus a new campaign, plus no more waiting for the damn maps to load when I start up Halo, plus the Reach MP Beta. Sounds good to me. Also, I recall Bungie saying on a number of occasions that ODST won't be the full $60 for a normal game.

I don't have the maps, so I don't mind. I won't be buying the expansion until it drops below $30, anyway.
Go Rams and Missouri!
No, the new maps are probably going to be added to the price, but the older ones will not. You will pay for the new campaign, Firefight mode, and 3 Halo 3 maps.

Posted by: Achilles1108Meh. I don't mind. At least I won't have to download the maps again if my 360 breaks. That's a nice way of thinking about it. Another good way of thinking about it is...you paid to play the maps earlier than someone who's holding out for ODST. Good on you for supporting premium content, also I'm excited that even the most frugal of Halo/Bungie fans can enjoy all the maps with the rest of us. Everyone's happy...at least they should be.
