If it has a different cover than the regular edition, and that controller comes with it, I'm sold.

I don't know what else is coming with it, but I'm going to buy it. As big a fanboy as I am for Halo, I think I would need any flashy new content to come out for it for any theorizing gambit I'll be making. Regardless, that controller looks badass.

I really want an ODST helmet.

I would probably -blam!- my pants if I had an ODST helmet.

Well, my old controller is in need of replacing....

But I've never been interested with "Special Editions", unless if they have something that can contribute something worthy in game.

Well let's see so far we know that there will be

-Halo 3 :ODST (Full Game obviously)
-Halo 3 :ODST themed controller
-Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta

They may throw in some stuff like they did with the Halo Wars: Limited Edition.

well, apparently reach comes with ODST regardless, not the CE.

My thoughts exactly. Still, I won't be a curmungeon and tell others that they should or shouldn't buy a collectors edition of a video game.

It's their money, their choice.

Why would a game come out with DLC when it releases?

Posted by: akatsuki9GuY
I would not want to pay $99 for ODST and a designed controller unless it came with good DLC

I mean like a upgraded better looking weapon.
kinda like what halo wars and gears 2 did.

Proud tester of the Halo 3 beta.

How long do we have to wait until we can pre-order the limited edition? That's an awesome controller.

WOAH WOAH WOAH NOW!

A CONTROLLER BOOSTS A GAME FROM 60$ TO 99$?!

no way, unless it comes with some other worthwhile things, it wont happen.

The game will be milked for all its worth, but all the bungie fan-boys will still buy all the limited edition stuff like the control. Including me =]

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

If it's wireless, and the normal version of the game is a full $59.99, it might be worth it.

Now that you mention it I hope it does come with booklets.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

damn, that controller is HAWT, and i need a new one, my old ones eft analog stick is busted, the d pad wont respond, and a,b,x,y buttons aren't consistently working

You could use them at LANs...? I dunno. I've wanted to get a fourth controller and this may as well be it.

There's a word for what I am, but I can't pronounce it.

BFA, CCS - olde and bony & one minute musings.

If it's a requirement to grab the limited addition of ODST to obtain a multiplayer invitation code for Halo: Reach, it's definitely a sure buy for me. I've already pre-ordered ODST, though.

One of the issues I have with exclusive controllers is that they tend to be faulty and break (or at least with my experiences). Overall the aesthetics of the controller looks very nice.

It just looks like the Halo 3: ODST controller comes bundled with ODST, which does justify the price, somewhat. If ODST is $60, plus a $40 or so controller, the $100 price tag is, well, justified.

99 bucks is a little much, but I've been needing a new controller, and I think I might as well go for that :D

Considering that controller bundles at the moment range from 50-60 dollars, it's not that bad of a deal having it bundled with ODST.

That would be cool but not worth it if I can't wear it.

Iyea I hope they make it so it can fit (if they do make a helmet)

Im a Bungie veteran. I have and always will serve them well.

An ODST helmet would look cool next to the Master Chief helmet.

I don't play much anymore.

I'm definitely going to get that. Being the intense gamer I am (lol), I broke my Halo 3: Edition controller that came with the green Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360. I think this will replace it just fine. :P

when you think about it, shouldn't jump from $60-$120
Controller-$60
Game-$60

Do you need the collectors edition for a key to the Halo Reach beta?
