If I was in a room with justin Bieber, Bin Laden, Hitler and a gun with two bullets I would Shoot Bieber twice.

Why is there math on the pie?

What I got from it after opening it up in photoshop and playing with it was this:

Far left: An Elite. The Arbiter?
Second to left: A female marine
Center: A marine sergeant, mainly because of a like a cap like other Sgt's wear
Second from right: Not sure, possibly a knife in his hand, big shoulder plates
Far right: An ODST sniper. His helmet kind of has that look to it, is all.

  • 06.01.2009 4:32 PM PDT

The one on the far right looks exactl;y like an ODST. Judging by the heights, I'd say they're all human escept for the one on the far left.

The second one on the left doesn't look like a regular Spartan, almost looks like a marine?

Could be Dr. Halsey...

And remember kids, don't eat yellow snow!

I;m guessing the one on the far left is a new covenant species. It appears to have a tail, but then again it could be ammo for a chain gun?

Black Chapter, for all religious and political debate that doesn't fit in the Flood.

It would appear to be a Spartan with an LMG with an ammo belt. Looks nothing like an Elite.

I do not know why everyone has snapped onto this "it's an elite" idea. Don't see many elites with a goddamn minigun...

Hope to someday work at this place! :)

I'll bet you DO get to play as the Chief when he is fighting in orbit. How would they deal with the zero-G though I wonder?

I am the Sharpshooter

If you look closely at the silhouettes you can see there facing away from you, i.e back towards you. I reckon the one on the far left is a spartan, (hence chain gun) and extra bulkiness is due to some sort of back pack (mentioned in books) or ammo for the gun

I'm more Rad than you.

Im pretty sure that they are going to be all new characters. First of all, they are Class II, and second of all, Blue Teams adventures during the Fall of Reach have already been shown in the book. They don't want to make a game after all ready pre-determined events.

Perfect intro for non book readers.

Opening CE cutscene.
*Insert Time I forget the exact time frame* Hours Earlier
Chief jumping out and doing his space op
Jump to other Spartans for rest of game.

Ties it clearly to CE and gives a time frame for those who didn't read the books very easily + imagine the opening CE scene in new HD graphics and stuff.

I see that too. It also appears like they are watching another figure walking in front of them. I count 6 figures total.

I've played all the games and read the books and there seems to be nothing to suggest that there are Class 2 Spartans involved. They only appeared in Onyx and nowhere on reach at any point during the fight. Nor where there any Eiltes fighting alongside the UNSC. Maybe I missed something but that's my understanding.

Does this mean you get to fight alongside other Green robots? Sweet!

If they aren't dumb (AI), this'll be great.

Im hoping the campaign has AI other Spartans, who you can control if you play on live with friends, 4 player co op please!

Maybe the guy on the far left is in one of the Mark I throught III Mjolnir prototypes?

As for everyone else.... Perhaps it's a different crew than the ones from Fall of Reach or First Strike. I mean, there were more Spartans than Red Team.... And the possibility exists because of the Spartan's call sign that some of them could be Spartan II-2's.

SUNY Plattsburgh - Finance Major
Go Habs Go! - Red Sox Nation! - Dallas Cowboys

Master Chief is probably not one of them.

I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

What weapon is the character on the far left holding? I can't seem to make heads or tails of it.

I just want to point something out. in the Spartan-II Project, there were about 300 applicants. Out of those, only 150 can pass correct?

You have to remember that the spartans that passed weren't all in numerical order tags (Example: Spartans 001-150 passed).

In fact, I believe somewhere in "The Fall of Reach" it even indicates that. So the exceeding of the 150 limit can not be used on this spartan's tag. I find it believable so far.

  • 06.01.2009 5:14 PM PDT

In other words, Spartan 259 survived/made it into that 150 limit.
