i like many other gamers ~hopefully~ got a tingle of pride when these trailers were released.
I am truly proud to have been with this game company for years since halo 1. THANK YOU BUNGIE.

Now lets get to the basics,
This game was installed as of 2010 four games after the release of "halo combat evolved"
and is starting before halo 1, giving us more of an understanding about master chief, the war, and the covenant. Now if you havent read the book entitled "fall of reach" than you will be a little hazy on the details of this games timeframe, only if this game develops around the actual halo book.
One thing we know for certain is that bungie game studios knows how to make some intense game trailers.
this will be an intense year!
THANK YOU BUNGIE!!!!!!!!
these weare som rather correct comments i have read,
until maybe about a month bungie will have the world on one breath

I think we all knew that one already ;)

If it is based before Halo 1, I hope some new "old" weapons definitely are included, and with the beta coming out so soon (well, ODST coming out so soon (September)), I just hope at least some of these weapons will be announced until then.

Anyway, in my personal opinion, I definitely see this as a precursor to the Halo 1 age, where Spartans ruled the universe and the Elites were actually evil. I hope this is true.
