$.50 in store credit.

I was looking at ODST's project page, and elites were not listed as enemies. Will we fight them? Also it looked like the brute PR is coming back/

We will fight the covenant, yes. This is taking place during Halo 2.

You do not fight elites in ODST, they already said that in a weekly update. Halo: Reach has elites for sure though.

One of the most bada** Canadian Eons you'll ever receive a bullet to the head from.

Hopefully we will, I love killing elites, listening to them scream brings back memories.

Why wouldn't ELites be back when it takes place in Halo 2?

A soldiers sacrifice is never forgotten

ODST takes place after halo 2, so therefor elites would have already seceded from the covenant. We will not fight them.

I am going to lube your butt hole with nacho cheese and -blam!- you with a crowbar.

No elites?

Actually it takes place right after MC and miranda and company chase after regret during halo 3, How they recalled all the elites off of earth that quickly, I will never know. It's as if all elites immediately vanished after they were eliminated from the covenant. And they never replaced elites untill after regret died, meaning that the game must somehow be after regrets death, yet you see regret's ship warping out of mombasa. Plot holes it would seem :(.

Bungie already said that we won't be fighting Elites, and storywise it takes place right after Regret and his Elite forces leave the city, so yeah...I'm personally hoping for Elite stragglers left behind to fight, but I doubt it.

This is when the elites as the main force unit are being replaced by brutes. They are sill on the halo ring but the prophets begin only using brutes as the main unit/protector of their armies. Well, something like that.

Yeah, the elite overturn (being replace fully by brutes) happened after regret's death. since the prophets thought that the elites were no longer trustable.

I believe that there will be elites. The real question is....will there be flood?

We should know better, because we are better.

Darn. Elites are the best enemies/allies in the halo trilogy.

Unless Halo: ODST lasts long enough that you're still playing by the time the covie ship crashes it is highly doubtful. The only way for there to even be a cameo of flood would probably lie with Dare and that ONI building. Perhaps they have some specimens locked down for study in there. Otherwise I personally can't think of any other way of there being flood in ODST.
