I mean come on Bungie. The games have declined over the past 8 years. The campaigns have lost the appeal they had with CE. Hopefully ODST can prove Bungie still has it, but I doubt it.

Just look at the years.

It took Bungie three years to create Halo 2 after CE was released.

It took them three years to release Halo 3 after Halo 2 was released.

Now all of a sudden then can bang out an expansion and an entirely new game in the same period? It just seems as if Bungie is less and less focused on creating good games.

You know they've been selling more and more each game?

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

The story could have been ready, since this is a prequel. They also don't have to make the Next Gen leap from Halo 2 to Halo 3.

You have the development schedule of Reach? You know exactly when it was started? Impressive...

Chapter

Narwhallace Smithington: Gone, but not forgotten. Never approve of anything lil guy. <3
Furious George: The new -blam!-

The original post is 100% factual. Anyone who disagrees is obviously a fool.

:\

Come on now, man, really? A lot of people like the story in it's entirety.

How have the games gotten worse? And it'll be 3 years by the time they release Reach so I fail to see a problem.

First off, the expansion (ODST) is only a campaign expansion. everything else is COMPLETELY the same, same multiplayer, theater, forge, etc.
And secondly, it appears you know exactly when production of Halo Reach started. Why don't you tell us?

wow, really? They've expanded as a company, with many more workers. This means they can work on more projects at one time than what they used to do (one project at a time).

If you wanna talk about Bungie Studios, complain in the Bungie Universe Forum.

Editing your first post wouldn't have given you enough attention? You needed to copy another's complaint?

I have no evidence of the production schedule, I was simply commenting on the time period between games, historically and projected.
