I know its still extremely early but I'm just wondering what the weapon variety will be like. We most likely won't see the Spartan Laser, Battle Rifle, Brute Plasma Rifle, Brute Spiker Rifle, Brute Shot, Gravity Hammer, Firebomb, Spike Grenades, Mauler and some equipment. We also will lose some vehicles. I think Bungie may increase the human arsenal to compensate for it.

What do you think will happen to the weapon arsenal in Halo:Reach.

hi

All those weapons were used prior to Halo 1. Brutes were in the covenant for a long time.

NY Giants
Miami Heat

The hunter fuel Road cannon.
Jackal shield equipment.
Possible class based multiplayer but doubt it.

Contact Harvest states the Battle Rifle was still a prototype at the time and the Spartan Laser wasn't used by humans until the end of Halo 2(on Earth only) and Halo 3. The brutes as far as I remember were not mentioned in The Fall of Reach at all. Those weapons could appear online depending on how it is set up but I don't see them being in the campaign.

Actually, in a means to help Halo Wars's Supposed Canonical problems, Spartan Lasers could appear as it appeared in Halo Wars, which definitely took place before the Fall of Reach.

Superintendent
The group home for the Investigation of the little green men.

You know, technically there should be less weapons, excluding the weapons only mentioned in the fiction of course.

That's an interesting thought.

Without me, it's just "Aweso".

Perhaps the old rocket launcher with lock-on?

They never mentioned brutes, flood, known info of forerunners, and many weapons in many halo games and books.

It's canon.

And a halo licensed game that has an actual story and is an actual halo game is canon. No doubt about it.

<3 THE SALTY CHIP

I doubt the old assault rifle will make a return.

Even if the game is canon doesn't mean that all gameplay elements are. For balance things can be changed regardless of its importance to the Halo universe.

I honestly don't care if there are plot holes with weapons or weapon mechanics and such. I just want them to balance the game to their best of their abillities.
